Producers' Meeting at PFF in Madrid
The first Polish-Spanish meeting for producers and filmmakers was held on May 6, as part of the 1st Polish Film Festival, organized by the Polish Institute in Madrid with support from the Polish Film Institute. Maciej Karpiński, representative of the General Director of the Polish Film Institute for International Issues, attended the meeting.
The meeting included a presentation of the functioning of the Polish Film Institute and the conditions for international co-operation between the two countries. Over forty producers and representatives of the film industry attended the meeting. The presentation was followed by a discussion about the Polish Film Institute’s operational programmes, the rules for co-financing international co-productions, and the opportunities of co-operation in the field of services for Polish specialists and production houses.
The next meeting is scheduled for 2011, during the 2nd Polish Film Festival in Madrid.
