"Reverse" Awarded in India

Borys Lankosz received the Best Director award for his feature Rewers (Reverse) at the closing gala of the 9th Pune International Film Festival in India, which ended on January 13.

 

The Pune festival annually awards a Best Director and Best Film award of the Government of Maharashtra’s Prabhat. This year’s other winning project was the French-Korean co-production Dooman River/ La Riviere Tumen, directed by Zhang Lu.

 

The 9th Pune International Film Festival, which ran from January 6 through 13, screened over 400 films in several sections. Reverse screened in the World Competition section, along with twelve other films, including Na putu (On the Path) by Jasmila Zbanic and the Danish film R by Michael Noer and Tobias Lindholm.
