TFL Co-Production Fund and TFL Audience Design Fund are waiting for applications

Until April 28, you can apply for funding from the TFL Co-Production Fund whereas applications to  TFL Audience Design Fund can be submitted a little longer, until June 15 this year. Both funds are intended for both feature and documentary films, as well as animations with the participation of European and non-European partners. They combine financial grants with training activities and the presentation of supported projects on the “TFL: Meeting Event 2020” co-production forum, which will take place in November this year. Applications can be submitted online.

The TFL Co-Production Fund is directed at experienced directors who are working on their third feature film. However, the applicant must be a producer based in one of the countries participating in the MEDIA program. A subsidy of EUR 50,000 can be obtained for one co-production. In addition to the grant, the selected project will participate in the FeatureLab workshops that will be held in September this year. There, you’ll be able to take advantage of individual consultations with experts from various fields. The application form is available here

TFL Audience Design Fund, which was created for innovative development strategies and reaching customers at the time of distribution, in 2020 offers a total of three grants of EUR 45,000 each. Full-feature feature film projects that were developed during the TFL training program (producers also have the right to submit a project to the fund other than those developed during the TFL workshops). In addition, the project must have at least one co-producer from a country not participating in the MEDIA or Eurimages programs. The co-producer’s share cannot be lower than 30 percent.
