The Cove at the 7th Planete Doc Review

The Cove by Louie Psihoyos, winner of this year’s Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature, will be the opening film at the 7th Planet Doc Review film festival.

The film shows living conditions of dolphins in a bay near the Japanese city of Taiji, and at times feels more like a thriller than a documentary.

In addition to last night’s Academy Award, The Cove has received a number of other awards, including the audience award for best documentary film at the Sundance film festival.

At Planete Doc Review, The Cove will screen in the Main Competition, striving for the Millenium Award and the newly introduced Green Warsaw Award.
