Film plot

„Faithbreaker” by Piotr Złotorowicz is a story about a young girl, Anna, who, after years of absence, comes to her native village to spend time with her ailing mother. The meeting with Alek – Ania’s first school love – starts a series of events that reveal deeply hidden secrets from the past.

– This film was conceived as a visual poem in which scenes viewed from the perspective of subsequent characters reappear. It is a story about the imperfection of human memory, about the moral costs of truth and a reflection on whether it is always worth bearing them – says the director and author of the script, Piotr Złotorowicz.
