Sęp (Vulture)

January 11 will mark the Polish theatrical release of Sęp (Vulture), the feature debut from acclaimed stage director Eugeniusz Korin. The film is co-financed by the Polish Film Institute. The score for the film will be written by British band Archive.

Archive: the Perfect Film Music

Archive was established in London in 1994. The band visited Poland several times, performing at concerts in Krakow and Warsaw. Their song “Again” spent 60 weeks on the hit list of Polskie Radio 3.

Archive’s music is very popular in France, Germany, Switzerland, and Poland. The band’s eighth and most recent album “With Us Until You’re Dead” will be released on August 28. Music critic Piotr Metz stresses that Archive writes “the perfect film music. Everything they have composed to date is like the soundtrack of a non-existent film.”

Sęp (Vulture): Poland’s Latest Thriller

Eugeniusz Korin’s Vulture is a thriller, focused on the story of a policeman (Michał Żebrowski) who is investigating the case of mysterious disappearings in the heart of Europe. The film also features performances by Paweł Małaszyński, Anna Przybylska, Daniel Olbrychski, Andrzej Seweryn, Piotr Fronczewski, Andrzej Grabowski, and Mirosław Baka.
