Winners of the 2010 Polish Film Awards

The 2010 Polish Film Awards “Orły” (Eagles) ceremony was held at Teatr Polski. The undisputed winner was Rewers (Reverse) by Borys Lankosz, sweeping a total of eight awards, including best film. Agata Buzek and Anna Polony received best actress awards, while Reverse also took best screenplay, best original music, best production design, and best costume design. Director Borys Lankosz was dubbed the Discovery of the Year.

 

The award for best director went to Wojciech Smarzowski, while his feature Dom zły (Dark House) received awards for best photography and best editing, in addition to winning the audience award.

Best Supporting Actress: Anna Polony – Rewers (Reverse)

Best Photography: Krzysztof Ptak – Dom zły (Dark House)

Best Screenplay: Andrzej Bart – Rewers (Reverse)

Best Original Score: Włodek Pawlik – Rewers (Reverse)

Best Production Design: Magdalena Dipont, Robert Czesak – Rewers (Reverse)

Best Costume Design: Magdalena Biedrzycka – Rewers (Reverse)

Best Editing: Paweł Laskowski – Dom zły (Dark House)

Best Sound: Mateusz Adamczyk, Sebastian Witkowski – Wojna polsko-ruska (Snow White and Russian Red)

The lifetime achievement award went to writer, screenwriter and director Jerzy Stefan Stawiński. It was presented by Andrzej Wajda.

 

The audience award for best film, voted in an online poll, went to Dom zły (Dark House).
