Zanussi Awarded in Skopje

Krzysztof Zanussi will be a special guest at the Skopje Film Festival in Macedonia, where he is to be honoured with a lifetime achievement award by the Macedonian Film Archive and the University of Audiovisual Arts.

Zanussi will also give a lecture to the students and lecturers of the drama school at the National St.  Ciril and Methodius University, as well as an open lecture at the University of Audiovisual Arts in Skopje.

The Skopje Film Festival will screen four films by Zanussi: Constans (The Constant Factor), Persona Non Grata, Rok spokojnego słońca (A Year of the Quiet Sun), and Życie jako śmiertelna choroba przenoszona drogą płciową (Life as a Fatal Sexually Transmitted Disease).

The fourteenth edition of the festival runs from April 15 to 20. The festival programme includes over 20 films screened and awarded at film festivals around the world.
