Bracia (Brothers), a film directed by Wojciech Staroń, received the Grand Prize at the Listapad IFF in Minsk. Aleksandra Maciuszek received special mention for her film Casa Blanca.

The North American rights to Demon, a film directed by Marcin Wrona and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, have been acquired by distribution company The Orchard.

Miasto 44 (Warsaw 44), a film directed by Jan Komasa and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, has been released on DVD and Blu-Ray and is also available on VoD in France.

Carte Blanche, a film directed by Jacek Lusiński and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, received special mention at the 39th Mostra International Film Festival in São Paulo.

2015 SILVER EYE AWARDS FOR POLISH FILMMAKERS
Several Polish filmmakers are among the winners of this year's Silver Eye Awards, which are presented annually at the closing ceremony of the Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival in the Czech Republic. The winning films were selected among documentaries screening at the East Silver Market.

Body/Ciało (Body), a film directed by Małgorzata Szumowska and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, received the Grand Prize at the CinÉast International Film Festival in Luxembourg, which closed on October 23.
"STARTING POINT" ON OSCAR'S 2015 SHORTLIST
Punkt wyjścia (Starting Point), a short documentary by Michał Szcześniak, is the only Polish film on this year's Oscar shortlist in the Best Documentary Short Subject category.
