Polish Filmmakers Win in Locarno
Polish filmmakers were awarded at the 68th Locarno International Film Festival. Wojciech Staroń's documentary Bracia (Brothers) won the top prize of the prestigious Critics' Week (La Semaine de la Critique). Mów Mi Marianna (Call Me Marianna) by Karolina Bielawska received Premio Zonta Club Locarno. Andrzej Żuławski won the prize for the Best Direction for his new film Cosmos.
POLAND AT CINELINK
A delegation of 15 Polish producers and distributors will take part in the CineLink co-production market at the 21st Sarajevo International Film Festival. Poland is this year's official partner of the festival.

11 minut (11 Minutes) by Jerzy Skolimowski and Demon by Marcin Wrona, both co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, will screen at the 40th Toronto International Film Festival.

Culture.pl, the Pomeranian Film Foundation in Gdynia and the Gdynia Film School are organising a short-film competition about the Baltic Sea countries - their cultural identity, their history, their society, their transformation.

Klezmer, the feature debut by director Piotr Chrzan, has been selected to screen in competition at the 12th edition of Venice Days, a section of the 72nd Venice International Film Festival, which runs from September 2 through September 12, 2015.
POLISH-GERMAN CO-DEVELOPMENT FUND
The application deadline for financial support for film project development within the framework of the Polish-German Co-Development Fund is August 14. Applications are open to film producers from Poland and Germany.

The Polish Cinema Classics Vol. IIII DVD collection was released in the United Kingdom on May 25, 2015. The collection has been co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.
