Indian Film Week in Warsaw
November 5, 2012 brought the gala opening ceremony of the Indian Film Week at Warsaw's Kultura cinema. The Indian Film Week is an event that celebrates 100 years of Indian filmmaking, organized by the Embassy of India, the Polish Filmmakers Association and the Polish Film Institute.

Nomination for "Argentinian Lesson"

Polish Films at Mar del Plata IFF

Obława (Manhunt), directed by Marcin Krzyształowicz and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, has found an international sales agent. The film will be represented by Canadian-based company Attraction Films.
Awards of the 28th Warsaw Film Festival
October 20 brought the awards ceremony of the 28th Warsaw Film Festival. The Warsaw Grand Prix was awarded to Tango Libre by Frédéric Fonteyne. The Warsaw Film Festival is co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.
London: New Polish Women Directors

Polish-French animation with a chance for a César
A Polish-French animation "Agnieszka", by Izabela Bartosik-Burkhardt, co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, is among ten films short-listed for the César 2013 French Film Academy Award in the Animated Shorts category.
