"Loving Vincent" on Kickstarter

In March 2014, Gdańsk-based animation studio BreakThru Films plans to launch production of Loving Vincent, a feature animated film project co-financed by the Polish Film Institute and directed by Dorota Kobiela. The film focuses on the life and controversial death of Vincent van Gogh as seen through the eyes of the characters of his paintings. February 6 marks the closing date of the project's fundraising campaign on Kickstarter.

A Good Year for Polish Films

11 minut (11 Minutes), a film by Jerzy Skolimowski, will receive support from Eurimages; the decision was made at the December meeting of Eurimages representatives in Vienna. This marks the fourth Polish film to receive Eurimages funding in 2013.
