Winners of the 22nd Camerimage IFF
The 22nd Camerimage International Film Festival, an event co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, drew to a close on November 22. The Golden Frog Award for Best Film in Main Competition went to Leviathan, a film directed by Andrey Zvyagintsev and lensed by Mikhail Krichman. The award for Friend of the Festival went to Agnieszka Odorowicz, General Director of the Polish Film Institute.
3rd Poland Film Festival in Japan
The third edition of the Poland Film Festival in Japan will run from November 22 through December 26, 2014.
Polish Animations in Competition
Several Polish animated films co-financed by the Polish Film Institute will screen at the 11th Animateka International Film Festival, which runs from December 8 through December 14 in Ljubljana.
Kinoteka - Polish Film Festival in India
The Kinoteka Polish Film Festival will run from November 19 through December 12 in Bombay and New Delhi.

On November 12, nominations for the Cinema Eye Honors, one of the top awards in the world of documentary filmmaking, were announced at Copenhagen's CPH:DOX festival. Among five titles nominated in the short film category is Joanna, a film directed by Aneta Kopacz and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.
"Ida" Nominated for European Film Awards in Four Categories
Ida, a film directed by Paweł Pawlikowski and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, received a total of five nominations for this year's European Film Awards: European Film, European Director (Paweł Pawlikowski), European Screenwriter (Paweł Pawlikowski and Rebecca Lenkiewicz), and two nominations for European Actress (Agata Kulesza and Agata Trzebuchowska). Łukasz Żal and Ryszard Lenczewski have been awarded the Carlo Di Palma Prize for European Cinematographer.
