On May 13, 2018 the New Horizons International Film Festival and the Polish Film Institute presented a selection of six Polish films in various stages of production (works-in-progress) in the New Horizons’ Polish Days Goes to Cannes program at the biggest film market Marché du Film, during the 71st Cannes International Film Festival.

The Hot Docs International Documentary Film Festival in Toronto runs from April 26 through May 6. The lineup of this year's edition of the festival features five Polish documentaries.
