31 films in Polish competition at Kraków Film Festival
Twenty documentary films, seven animated films, and seven short films will compete for the "Golden Lajkonik" ("Złoty Lajkonik") at the 49th Kraków Film Festival. In the international competition Poland will be represented by four films.

Kinoteka, the 7th Polish Film Festival, will be held in London 12 March-8 April during which films will be presented in six splendid London Institutions: the Barbican, BFI Southbank, Cargo, Prince Charles Cinema, Riverside Studios, and Tate Modern.

Polish cinema fest in New York

Plus Camerimage Awards
The Plus Camerimage 2008 Golden Frog went to Anthony Dod Mantle for the cinematography in Slumdog Millionare at the 16th Plus Camerimage International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography, which has just finished in Łódź. Alan Parker received the Lifetime Achievement Award for Unique Visual Sensitivity.
