ANDRZEJ ŻUŁAWSKI DIES AT 75

Andrzej Żuławski, acclaimed director, screenwriter, writer, passed away on 17 February at the age of 75, following a long illness. Żuławski was the director of award-winning films, including Trzecia część nocy (The Third Part of the Night), Diabeł (The Devil), Possession, Szamanka (Shaman), Fidelity, and Cosmos.

"ESCAPE FROM THE 'LIBERTY' CINEMA" DVD RELEASE IN THE UK

January will mark the UK DVD release of Wojciech Marczewski's Ucieczka z kina 'Wolność' (Escape from the 'Liberty' Cinema) by Second Run. The film was previously available on DVD as part of the Polish Cinema Classics Vol. II collection, released in 2013.
