Małgorzata Szumowska's Body/Ciało (Body) was voted Best Polish Film at the Polish Film Awards, also winning awards for Best Director, Best Actress (Maja Ostaszewska) and Best Actor (Janusz Gajos). Janusz Majewski's Excentrycy, czyli po słonecznej stronie ulicy (The Eccentrics. The Sunny Side of the Street) also received a total of four awards.
