AFTER CANNES: "THE HERE AFTER" REVIEWS
May 21, 2015 marked the world premiere of The Here After (Polish title: Intruz), a film directed by Magnus von Horn and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, at the 68th Cannes International Film Festival. The film was warmly received by the audience and by Polish and international film journalists alike.
The 68th Cannes IFF
On May 24, 2015 finished the 68th Cannes International Film Festival. The festival lineup featured several films co-financed by the Polish Film Institute. In the event also took part the representatives of the Polish film industry.
BODO KOX RECOGNIZED BY SCRIPTEAST
The Krzysztof Kieślowski ScripTeast Award was presented at the 68th Cannes International Film Festival. Special mention went to Polish director Bodo Kox.
"SOMETHING BETTER TO COME" AWARDED IN MUNICH
Nadejdą lepsze czasy (Something Better to Come) by Hanna Polak and Królowa ciszy (The Queen of Silence) by Agnieszka Zwiefka, two documentaries co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, received awards at the 30th DOK.fest International Documentary Film Festival in Munich.

10 YEARS OF THE POLISH FILM INSTITUTE
The 10 year anniversary gala of the Polish Film Institute was held on May 11, 2015 at the Grand Theatre - National Opera in Warsaw.
"THE TOUCH OF AN ANGEL" AT INPUT IN JAPAN
Dotknięcie Anioła (The Touch of an Angel), a documentary film directed by Marek Tomasz Pawłowski and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, will be the only project from Poland to screen at the 2015 INPUT Conference in Japan.
POLISH FILMS AT 21ST SHEFFIELD DOC/FEST
The 21st Sheffield Doc/Fest runs from June 5 through June 10.
"GOLDEN DROPS" AWARDED IN INDIA
Złote Krople (Golden Drops), an animated film co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, received the award for Best Feature Animation at the Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival in India.

Several films co-financed by the Polish Film Institute received awards at Sehsüchte, Europe's largest student film festival.
"Imagine" in Japanese Cinemas
April 25, 2015 marked the Japanese theatrical release of Imagine, a film directed by Andrzej Jakimowski and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.
5TH POLISH FILM FESTIVAL IN MONGOLIA
The fifth Polish Film Festival in Mongolia will run from April 29 through April 30, 2015 in Ulaanbaatar.

JERZY KUCIA'S FILM WINS IN DRESDEN
Fuga na wiolonczelę, trąbkę i pejzaż (Fugue for Cello, Trumpet and Landscape), a film directed by Jerzy Kucia and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, received the Golden Horseman Award for Best Animated Film at the Filmfest Dresden International Short Film Festival.
JULIA KOWALSKI'S "CRACHE-COEUR" IN ACID SECTION AT CANNES
Crache-Coeur, a Polish-French co-production directed by Julia Kowalski and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, will have its world premiere in the ACID section of the 68th Cannes IFF.
MARIUSZ WŁODARSKI - PRODUCER ON THE MOVE 2015
Polish producer Mariusz Włodarski is among this year's participants of the prestigious 'Producers on the Move' programme, which will take place during the 68th Cannes International Film Festival.

BODY/CIAŁO, a film directed by Małgorzata Szumowska and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, received special mention of the jury at the International Women's Film Festival in Dortmund, which closed on April 19, 2015.

The tenth edition of the filmPOLSKA festival will run in Berlin from April 22 through April 29, 2015.
Gajos Wins Best Actor Award
Janusz Gajos received the award for Best Actor at the 20th Kino Pavasaris IFF in Vilnius for his performance in BODY/CIAŁO, a film directed by Małgorzata Szumowska and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.
POLISH FILMS AT 2015 VISIONS DU REEL
The audience at this year's edition of Visions du Reel, which runs from April 17 to April 25, will have an opportunity to see a total of five Polish documentary films.
Largest Showcase of Polish Cinema in Beijing
A special showcase of Polish cinema will be part of the 5th Beijing International Film Festival. The Polish Film Institute has co-financed the participation of Polish films in this festival.
